New publication appearing as lead article in the November issue of the Journal of Marketing: "Hybrid Offerings: How Manufacturing Firms Combine Goods and Services Successfully" . Prof Reinartz and his co-author Prof. Ulaga identify and define the corporate resources and capabilities required for successfully offering combinations of goods and services.

Prof. Werner Reinartz has been nominated to serve on the selection committee for the 2012 “Jan-Benedict Steenkamp Award for Long Term Impact”. The Steenkamp Award is given for a paper that has been published in the International Journal of Research in Marketing (IJRM) ten to fifteen years prior to the year the award is being presented. Through this prestigious award, IJRM and the European Marketing Academy (EMAC) aim to recognize exceptional contributions in academic marketing research, published in IJRM, which have demonstrated long-term impact.

The Faculty of Management, Economics and Social Sciences will organize a workshop “The evolution of trust: How trust is built up and destroyed in advanced society“. In this workshop, Professor Reinartz will speak on the role of trust in company-consumer relationships.
